Hello, I'm Evan.
I am a Commercial Pilot and Finance Student excited by aviation, entrepreneurship, and equity investing. I attend the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota and expect to graduate in the Spring of 2027 with two Bachelor's Degrees in Commercial Aviation and Managerial Finance & Accounting.
In my work experience and recently completed Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training, I've gained experience flying, educating, combining the two, and managing both personal and organizational finances. Whether I'm in the cockpit, building financial models, or exploring business opportunities, I'm driven by my passion to understand and improve complex systems.
This website is a hub for sharing my journey. Here, you'll find my aviation experience, professional and personal projects, articles, and resume.
See below for a brief note on each page to visit!
My aviation journey began in 2023, when I earned my Private Pilot License at Airlake Airport (KLVN), and has continued through Instrument, Commercial, Multi-Engine, and CFI training at the University of North Dakota.
Today, I am preparing for my Instrument Flight Instructor (CFII) training and have logged over 260 total flight hours.
My projects reflect my curiosity for aviation, finance, and entrepreneurship. These projects capture my approach to learning, building, and simplifying complex systems.
From aviation safety tools to financial models, this page showcases ideas I've explored, solutions I've developed, and skills I continue to refine.
Through writing, I explore the ideas, projects, and lessons that shape my journey. I develop and share the thoughts behind my investment decisions, project opportunities, and the literature that influences my perspectives.
